Sleeping Dogs Platinum Trophy

  An excellent game from the Instant Game Collection for Playstation Plus members.  If not for Plus I'd never play this game.  My first "sandbox" open-world style platinum trophy.

Platinum #4

   I actually was starting to give up trying to get this but I played again after a couple months and it reignited me to go for it.  Beating the gold cup in boxing, golfing and skiing were my stumbling blocks initially but after that break I was able to win those events quite easily.  The six events in this game are so much more fun than the first game's sports, particularly bowling which is as near perfect simulation of the real thing.

Tough Trophy

  In this new series I am going to highlight my latest tough or very time-consuming trophy accomplishments.  I am always excited when I achieve tough online wins trophies.  NBA Jam On Fire Edition has one which requires at least 50 online wins and I got it today.  According to psnprofiles.com it is 1.8% ultra rare among players.  I got this game free from Playstation Plus and it is a lot of fun, I find myself wanting to come back to it quite a bit.  Now I am going to focus on the road trip campaign to see if I can get the 100% completion.  These rare achievements are what makes trophies so much fun to collect. 

 

LBP Vita Arcade Challenge Update #2

  Three down, two to go!  What's left?  Only the toughest parts of the remaining two games.  I would like to set a goal time of end of January, I'll keep trying.
